He praised the progress made by private space enterprise Skyroot Aerospace, notably mentioning the youthful average age of 28 years among its team members. In a veiled remark seemingly directed at Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi, Modi pointedly noted his reference to “young people” rather than a “56-year-old youth.”
The prime minister underscored that India’s advancements in space and technology are indicative of the country’s youthful ambitions and capabilities. This session of Parliament is poised to engage with numerous significant legislative proposals, including amendments concerning foreign funding regulations, taxation policies, higher education reforms, judicial improvements, and the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises.
A notable proposal on the agenda is a bill aimed at increasing the number of Supreme Court judges from 33 to 37, excluding the Chief Justice of India, to address the considerable backlog of cases.
