The motorcycle rally from Vadnagar to Varanasi, initiated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, aims to bring Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25-year political journey to the forefront, impacting communities across India. This event seeks to connect the public with Modi’s extensive public service record, appealing particularly to younger generations who may not be familiar with his early political career.

Flagged off on Thursday from Vadnagar, Modi’s birthplace, the rally is part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan, a campaign celebrating the milestone of Modi’s 25 years in public life. The campaign was launched on Modi’s 76th birthday, underscoring his rise from Gujarat’s chief minister in 2001 to his current tenure as Prime Minister.

This rally is one of two simultaneous motorcycle yatras under the initiative. The parallel rally, starting in Varanasi, was inaugurated by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and each rally features approximately 300 bikers. Participants will traverse numerous states and villages before concluding the journeys on October 7, symbolically closing on the anniversary of Modi’s ascendancy to the chief minister role.

The campaign’s design is to highlight Modi’s contributions and the impact of his policies on the nation, as noted by Amit Shah. It aims to communicate the significance of Modi’s public service milestone to a nationwide audience, reflecting the BJP and its allies’ commitment to spreading awareness of his political legacy.
