Donald Trump has turned up the heat in his global trade push, warning that additional countries will face new tariffs unless they comply with US trade demands. The president is sending letters to at least seven new countries this week.

At a recent event, Trump confirmed that the US has sealed trade agreements with both the UK and China. He also mentioned that talks with India are progressing well and may soon result in a finalized deal.
The compliance deadline has been moved to August 1, but Trump insists it won’t move again. “No extensions will be granted,” he posted, drawing a clear line in the sand for US trade partners.
